Terry Martin Amongst his previous publishing successes are the paintball magazine Born To Dye and the tabletop wargames magazine Random Factor. He worked for seven years on local newspapers before becoming a graphic designer and has written a regular monthly column for Paintball Games International magazine. His short stories have been published at Alternate Species, Dangerous Creatures and in Fiction's debut issue. He is a member of the BFS and the BSFA, but don't hold that against him!

Anne Stringer is a writer whose works have appeared in print, e-zine, and podcast form. She is co-founder, editor, and contributing writer for the Variant Frequencies podcast. She lives at Teen Central in the Land of the Winter Storm Warning.

Matt Wallace has never been one to respect boundaries or the sanctity of any one form of media where storytelling is concerned. As an author of fiction, radio and comic scripts, his work has appeared in print, audio form, and on-line in numerous venues such as Apex Science Fiction and Horror Digest, The Late Late Show, and the anthology Jack MacKenzie's The Big Black. In 2006, his short story "Absolution, Insured" was the winner of the first annual Parsec Award for Excellence in Speculative Fiction Podcasting, and he is a featured contributor on the Variant Frequencies podcast.

Victoria Charvill is a freelance proofreader and editor, as well as a closet comic and Warhammer geek. She runs her own writing group in Derby and organises a few local writing events each year including Script Frenzy and NaNoWriMo. As a result of these, she has a lot of her own writing hidden away in drawers.

Debbie Moorhouse is a British writer who also takes photographs. She used to be Submissions Manager for NFG and currently reads slush for ASIM and is a copyeditor for GUD magazine. The short story is her favourite form, which makes it puzzling that her shorts tend to grow into novels. Her short stories have appeared in various publications and she has had an article published in Strange Horizons.

Sam Stone has a degree in English and Writing for Performance and an MA in Creative Writing. Under the name Paigan Stone her first novel Gabriele Caccini –The Vampire Gene Book 1 received a Silver Award for Book of the Year 2008 with ForeWord Magazine. She is currently working on the third book to be published later this year by our imprint, The House of Murky Depths. Her writing has appeared in several anthologies.
ART DIRECTOR
Martin Deep studied Graphic Design at Ware College in Hertfordshire before heading up BP Oil's design studio after a five-year apprenticeship in Print, in the days of hot metal! His favourite medium used to be oils - he's a slow worker - but Photoshop allows him more freedom, but not the unique singular product. His illustration for Gareth D Jones' "Looking In, Looking Out" in Issue #1 of Murky Depths was nominated for the BSFA's Best Artwork 2007.
